"I have spent almost all of my life in Kent, and I have lived and worked in Canterbury for over 25 years.

I am married and have two grown-up children. As a result of bringing up my family locally I believe I am aware of the main concerns that the people of Canterbury and surrounding villages have.

My biggest concern at the moment is the state of the roads in Kent and in Canterbury in particular. As I cycle to and from work, I am constantly trying to avoid potholes.

After the recent bad weather the roads have got even worse and many of those that have been recently repaired already need repairing again - putting tarmac into a hole isn't a long-term solution. This type of poor service isn't acceptable and the KCC should be told.
